CourtDesk

Now accepting the first clubs

Your club gets asked
the same forty questions.

CourtDesk answers every one of them, around the clock, from information you provide once. When it encounters something it genuinely does not know, it takes the enquirer's email address and forwards the question directly to you.

Which are you?

It does not take bookings. That is deliberate.

You already have Playtomic or MATCHi, and they work well. CourtDesk never touches your calendar and never guesses whether a court is free. It answers the questions around the booking, then directs members to your existing link when they are ready to reserve.

  1. 01

Answer ten questions about your club

Prices, opening hours, coaching, parking and cancellations. Straightforward questions, one at a time, answered in your own words. Around ten minutes on a phone at reception.

  2. 02

Paste one line into your website

A chat button appears in the corner, isolated from your site's design so that it cannot conflict with it. A shareable link is provided as well, suitable for a QR code at reception or a social media profile.

  3. 03

Read only what it couldn't answer

Everything else is handled without you. When it cannot answer, it says so plainly, takes an email address and forwards the full conversation to you. Answer it once and the question never reaches you again.

The ones that arrive at 9pm on a Sunday

  • How much is a court on Saturday?
  • Do you hire rackets?
  • Is there parking?
  • Can I play if I'm not a member?
  • What time do you close?
  • Do you do beginner sessions?
  • Where exactly are you?
  • What's your cancellation policy?

Every one of these is already answered somewhere on your website, in an email your team has sent a hundred times, or in the knowledge of whoever happens to be at reception.

An unanswered question is a booking that goes elsewhere.

Somebody deciding where to play on Saturday asks two or three clubs at once, usually in the evening and usually from a phone. The club that replies first is generally the club they book. A question left until Monday morning has already been answered by a competitor.

£60
per month

About two pounds a day, and it does not take a break, a holiday or a shift off.

£44
one peak court

At that rate CourtDesk covers its own cost if it wins fewer than two additional bookings a month.

24/7
answered

Every enquiry that arrives after closing is currently answered by whichever club replies first.

A single member who joins because somebody answered at nine on a Sunday evening is worth many times the annual cost. The figures above use the court prices published on this page. Substitute your own and the conclusion holds at almost any rate a club charges.

What it will never do

Invent a price
It answers only from the information you have provided. Where you have not, it says so and asks whether the question should be passed on.
Guess at availability
It has no access to your calendar, by design. It points at your booking page instead.
Argue with an unhappy member
Complaints and billing disputes are passed directly to you, without any attempt at resolution.

Open to new clubs

We are working with a small number of clubs at a time so that each one is set up properly. Register your interest and we will be in touch as places become available.
